Simply Cats Adoption Center

2833 South Victory View Way
Idaho
83709
info@simplycats.org(208) 343-7177
Simply Cats' mission is to care for, protect, and find quality homes for the cats entrusted to us; to reduce cat overpopulation through spaying and neutering; and to provide educational community outreach programs promoting the humane treatment of all animals. The following are the principles that we abide by: No-Kill: We do not euthanize for space, but we will euthanize if a cat is suffering and there is no reasonable hope of improvement. All decisions to euthanize a cat will be made by the shelter management team. Shelter: We provide a place of protection and refuge, where a cat can live comfortably until it is adopted or lives out its life. Cagelessness: After a cat is deemed ready for adoption by our veterinarian, it will be housed in a room with other cats. The only time a cat will be caged is during its intake isolation period, if it is or becomes ill or injured, or for the safety of other cats. Care: We deal with individual cats, not statistics. Each cat will be provided with a high quality of life, including: All necessary and recommended medical care Fresh food and water Clean, attractive and sanitary housing Appropriate number of litterboxes Sufficient space to live, play and sleep comfortably Access to private space Fresh air and sunlight Activities and toys for physical and mental stimulation Daily human interaction Dignity and respect Spay or Neuter: We spay or neuter each cat before it goes into a new home, unless otherwise recommended by our veterinarian Respect: Every person who comes into the Simply Cats Adoption Center is treated with respect, regardless of the reason for visiting.

Stanly County Humane Society, Inc. is a non-profit corporation recognized by the IRS as 501(c)3. All contributions are tax deductible. Our mailing address is PO Box 1632 Albemarle, NC 28001. We are located only 1 hour from Charlotte and 1 1/2 hours from Greensboro, however, we do not have an actual shelter at this time. We feature both pure and mixed breed dogs that are usually under 20 pounds. Our dogs are fostered in a climate so that we know them well and can place them in the kind of home they need. Our goal is for both the pet and the adoptive family to be very happy with each other.
