Power Pups Rescue is a superhero-themed 501(c)(3) non-profit dog rescue based out of Ojai, CA that aims to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals in need. We are 100% foster based, so we do not have public kennels for people to visit and are by-appointment only. We believe that all dogs are superheroes, just searching for their super human sidekick. We believe that training is key in providing a "better breed of rescue." That is why all of our rescue dogs must undergo an evaluation and will be placed on a training plan that will need to be followed through by any staff, fosters or volunteers. That plan is then passed on to the adopter along with a free follow up session to help them with any follow through help they might need at home once they get to know their new superhero. We do what we do because we believe that education is the key to save them all.

I am a 44 yr old female who has turned the 2nd & 3rd floors of my paid off home, into a cat rescue/sanctuary. My kids are now grown & although two still live here they except what I do. I rescue cats from outside or unsafe situations. I also pull kittens from the streets and TNVR the moms to help with the over population issue. I do it because the need is great and I just can not sit back and do nothing.

We are a group of local woman who have volunteered with other groups. We all share the love of dogs and cats and adore great pyrenees. we will help local strays and owner surrenders as well as work with a network of southern rescue partners. nothing warms our heart more than to see a discarded, unwanted animal thriving in a home where it is loved and thought of as a family member.

Starting out, our goal was to help our community Dog Pound enter into the 21st century. For many years, the city of Granby had a pre-historic pound. Over time there was what would have been considered a band aid applied to a gun shot wound, 3 makeshift stalls to hold dogs found as strays inside the city limits. No electricity, no water, the dogs had been left out in the weather. Rain, sleet , snow and hail. It isn't just the Post Office motto, it was the way of life in the pound setting. Having no animal control, proper, in the city limits, our beloved police department had to pull extra duty providing for the welfare of the dogs. With the dedication of the incredible Catherine McFadden, and the drive and determination of our Granby community funds have been raised to lay the foundation (literally) of the new Granby Dog Pound. Seeing what had been accomplished, we wanted to go a step further. We want to help the rest of our Granby community with not only the stray dogs, but we have now started with stray cats as well. We have started a TNR (Trap-neuter-return) program for the community, this is no longer confined to the city limits. The Granby Dog Pound is still operated for the dogs inside city limits, but; we in ENAC will now assist in the rural area as well. We have established contacts with other area rescues and shelters to transfer the city's homeless and neglected dogs out to loving homes. ​As our motto says, Rescue: It's not just a verb, it's a promise!

Paws From Afar is a 501 (c)3 foster-based non-profit organization serving New England that is dedicated to saving and finding homes for dogs that are in danger of abandonment, abuse or euthanasia. ​ We actively work with rescue organizations in the southern United States to help transport and foster animals from areas where the euthanasia rate can hit almost 70 percent due to lack of space or funds. ​ With your help, we can continue to rescue and care for these wonderful dogs. Each one is unique and we won't stop until we find them their perfect furever home.

Best Friends East Coast Lifesaving Program works collaboratively with city shelters, local animal welfare organizations and passionate individuals to save the lives of pets in shelters across the East Coast.

We care about the cats. We were all involved in a TNVR group and sometimes the cat's life is in danger. This gets the cats out of a bad or dangerous area, yet lets them live out their lives in a safe area where they are appreciated, sheltered, fed and cared for. But for the sweet cats, we need a way to market them.

We are a 501c3, all volunteer, home foster-based dog and cat rescue with no facility. Our mission is to achieve a no-kill community by creating and implementing strategies that both Increase Outtake from the Shelter and Decrease Intake to the Shelter. To that end we offer both free and low cost spay/neuter, all pit bulls (and pit mixes) are altered free, a Pet Pantry that distributes over 2000lbs of free pet food to people through social services or that receive any kind of federal, state or county assistance, an Unchained Canines of Culpeper to build pens, provide shelter and dog food to previously chained dogs, and created a TNR Alliance which fosters a robust TNR program, and along with foster to adopt, barn cats placement and transfer to Mid-Atlantic no kill rescue groups we are a small but fierce group determined to reach our goal.

We are a registered non-profit charity founded in 2012. We consist of a Board of Directors and are totally run by volunteers. We primarily take in Northern dogs but also rehome animals from local shelters as well as owner surrenders.m (when applicable.) We spay/neuter all our animals as well as include age appropriate vaccines and a microchip. We also treat any known medical conditions before adoption.

We are a small but experienced rescue that helps dogs from overpopulated areas of Texas, runs our own transport, and adopts out dogs in the Pacific Northwest. We specifically focused on helping rescued animals from China that are rescued from slaughterhouses, abandonments, strays off the streets. There are no laws to protect them in China and we want to do our best to help them find their forever homes here in the US and live their second chance in life.

We work with humane officers in the County to take in and vet stray animals and then place for adoption. We also accept owner surrenders. I am the treasurer of the Board of Directors. I have been at this position for 2 years now.
