Friends of Companion Animals Feline Rescue & Adoption Center is a 501c3 nonprofit felines only welfare organization that has been preventing unwanted litters from growing up on the streets or entering the already overcrowded animal shelters in Monroe County since 2011. Friends of Companion Animals encourages the spaying/neutering of companion animals and offers adoptions to qualified pet parents.

I am a small organization focusing mainly on senior/geriatric dogs or dogs with special medical or behavioral needs. I have cared for several "forever" fosters in my organization paying for all their needs until the cross the rainbow bridge. I believe every life is valuable even the older dogs and the dying dogs. I also have adoptable dogs available but generally fewer, I mainly have seniors dogs.

We are a newly formed 501(c)(3) rescue in the Houston area with over 40 years of combined rescue experience. We help all injured, abandoned, and aim to save dogs from being unnecessarily euthanized. While specializing in German Shepherds, we are working towards educating the public on microchipping, spaying/neutering, heartworm treatment and prevention, and many other pet needs. We are working to build partnerships with other rescues and work tirelessly to assist in the overcrowding of shelters while placing these precious animals into loving forever homes.

FFAS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing abused, abandoned and neglected animals in and around Middle TN area. We encourage proper pet care and advocate spaying and neutering to help stop pet overpopulation. We currently use a system of foster homes to house all the animals in our care. We are committed to long-term care and placement of all animals that come into our organization. Therefore, we do not use euthanasia as a means of population control. This in turn makes intake of animals into our system depend on the amount of adoptions. FFAS started in the Robertson County area in 1999. A few kind hearts got together and realized the need for a program such as ours. Freedom Farm Animal Sanctuary was born. We soon expanded into the surrounding counties of Davidson and Sumner. Since then, many accomplishments have helped make FFAS one of the leaders in our area fighting against pet overpopulation. FFAS operates with an all-volunteer board and staff, which tirelessly work to save as many animals as possible. A partnership with PetSmart allows us to showcase our animals. Cats can be adopted at any time at the Rivergate PetSmart and dogs are seen on Saturdays from 10-2. Future goals include fundraising to help open our own adoption center, and acquisition of land to build our own sanctuary. Each year in the U.S., an estimated 5 million animals are needlessly euthanized due to one fact: There are too many animals! FFAS advocates the spaying and neutering of all companion animals in order to stop this tragedy. All animals adopted from FFAS are altered PRIOR to adoption. Any puppies or kittens take in by FFAS must have their mother spayed. FFAS sponsors the Spay Station of Wilson County Humane Association, which is a mobile spay/neuter unit, to come to different parts of Middle TN to provide low-cost or free spay/neuter to those on government assistance or low income.

Rescue Kitty is a 501(c)(3) Foster-based kitty rescue located mostly in Southern New Jersey. We provide fostering, vet care, adoption coordinating, TNR, and rescue. We leave no kitty behind!

Palm Valley Animal Center (PVAC) is the only full service, open admission, animal intake facility in Hidalgo County serving more than 42,000 animals and 750,000 residents each year. Palm Valley Animal Center is working towards no-kill, where we save 90% or more of the animals that enter our care.

We do this through tireless passion, commitment, and advocacy. Ruff House Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) non profit rescue organization in Nassau County, Long Island NY. We are a foster-based network of animal lovers who seek to save as many lives as possible, as fast as we can. As a largely volunteer-based organization, we depend on the generosity of our Ruff House family to do this life changing work.

Underhound Railroad was formed in 2009 by a group of friends, with a mission of rescuing innocent dogs from death row in Connecticut shelters. Underhound now tries to help wherever possible, focusing primarily in the southern parts of the country where shelters are overcrowded and the killing of adoptable dogs is prevalent. Through a network of volunteers, an undeserved death is prevented, medical needs are tended to, and transportation, as well as a loving foster family, are provided to the pups on their journey to finding their forever homes!

MY NAME IS CHELSAE MEHMEN AND I AM THE FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT OF THE ORGANIZATION. I HAVE BEEN RESCUEING AND HELPING ANIMALS FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS. I WAS INSPIRED BY MY PUP THAT I RESCUED FROM AN UNFORTUNATE SITUATION AND SHE REALLY INSPIRED ME TO CONTINUE TO DO THE SAME FOR OTHERS AND GREW INTO SOMETHING THAT IS NOW A PART OF MYSELF AND MY FAMILY. I WANT TO HELP THE COMMUNITY WITH THE OVERPOPULATED OUTSIDE KITTIES AND HELP FAMILES FIND ANOTHER PART OF THEIR FAMILY.

What does PI4W do? Our goal is to assist local animal rescues with funds to offset the exorbitant medical bills they incur as they save lives. What else does PI4W do? In February of 2014, we added in a Rescue, focused on bully breeds with at high risk of euthanization at local shelters. All rescued dogs live in foster homes while waiting to find their forever homes. Foster homes not only provide socialization, training and care for our dogs but they also offer a seamless transition for our adopters. Through our breed ambassadors we hope to showcase the amazing bully breed. How does our grant process work? To be considered, a Rescue must file an application every year with the foundation. They must provide documentation on their quality standards of care for all animals in their care. Their adoptions must include: spay/neuter, vet checks, home checks, and references. A fund request application must be submitted for medical cases along with documentation by a veterinary practice providing care. Medical funding is ALWAYS made directly to the medical practice, never to the rescue. What makes PI4W so special? Our team! Bosley's Place is a rescue exclusively for newborn orphaned puppies that require bottle-feeding, tube-feeding and 24 hour care. Once the puppies reach 9 weeks and are vetted and healthy, they are available for adoption.

We are an advocacy organization that is dedicated to the protection of cats, and specifically follow a no-kill advocacy. We rescue as many cats as our funding allows, in particular those cats that are likely to be dumped in the streets due to other rescues/shelters telling their owners to take them to the pound/humane society. We strive to promote progressive polices for cats in communities that know nothing about feral cats, TNR, spay/neuter, or only have high kill shelters. We also further our outreach by helping those people in communities who are interested in starting a TNR program. As we move forward, our outreach will expand.

My rescue focuses on the neonatal kittens and orphaned kittens. We raise them, vet them properly and then home them. I do it because I want to cut down the euthanasia rate.

We are a small group of rescuers who came together officially in 2015 to start a rescue group that focused on finding safe, quality homes for TX dogs in WA and NJ. We are dedicated to finding superb homes for our adoptable dogs and are committed to our dogs for their entire life. We have volunteers spread across the country who work together to save as many dogs as we can!

WWR was formed in 2018 after many years of fostering and private rescue. We are in rural West TN and the local shelter does not offer vet care and often euthanizes to make room for intake. We formed WWR to help the burden of the other rescues in the area.
