Southern Animal Welfare League Non-Profit Pet Rescue EIN 57-1238819 The purpose and passion of Southern Animal Welfare League is to prevent the suffering, neglect and abuse of companion animals in Chester County, South Carolina. Our focus is on educating the public on the importance of altering their companion animals, offering a low/no cost spay & neuter program for those that need financial assistance. Saving animals abandoned and left in our local kill shelter, providing a safe haven and veterinary care before transporting these wonderful animals to our “no kill" partner groups in the northeast. TNR Utopia is a small, no-kill, all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue with a focus on the trap, neuter, and return (TNR) of community cats in northern Queens, NYC. We also educate the public about living with community cats. Of course, when dealing with community cats, we often encounter kittens who are small enough to be socialize and adopted into forever homes. We are a small group of volunteers and dedicated animal lovers who spend our spare time sterilizing community cats and rescuing friendly cats and kittens. Although small, we do our best to help all that contact us. We are TNR certified through the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals, NYC Feral Cat Initiative in partnership with the ASPCA.

GLWR is a foster based rescue organization and does not have a traditional physical kennel facility like many humane societies or animal shelters do. Our dogs are typically housed in family homes and cared for by their foster families until we find a forever home for them. Therefore, our process to meet dogs and to adopt may be different than a normal animal control facility, humane society or animal shelter. All-volunteer group Great Lakes Weimaraner Rescue is an all-volunteer group and our mission is the rescue and placement of Weimaraners in the Great Lakes Region. We work with a network of shelters in several states, as well as owners needing to relinquish their dog. We are a determined group of people, but we couldn’t do anything without your support. Dogs come first We’ve stopped counting the hours of sleep lost with sick dogs and the miles driven to spring others from shelters. The volunteers of GLWR sacrifice daily to give each dog a chance to enjoy a good life. Your generous assistance with driving, gas cards, phone work, fundraising and dog care makes it possible for us to come to the aid of hundreds of dogs. No-kill philosophy GLWR adheres to a no-kill philosophy, and we will never euthanize a dog to make space for another. The waiting list for Weims in need never ends and we do all we can to take dogs in before they, well, cease to need us anymore. Occasionally a dog dies before we can take it in – haunting our dreams and fueling our determination to never lose another. Happy, healthy dogs From the moment a dog is part of GLWR, it’s medical and emotional needs are assessed and provided for. We believe in doing everything possible to help dogs make the transition into their “forever” home. Medical costs are our largest expense and your donations allow us to address health issues without delay. Why we do it? We are here for the Weimaraners and the Weimaraners alone. Our reward lies not in the accolades of being “rescuers”, but in the gratitude we see in the bright, loving eyes of dogs that once were sad, dejected and without hope. With your help, we’ve given them a chance to experience the warmth of a family that will love and care for them.

We are a rescue that rescues out of high kill shelters in TX. We mainly look for the dogs that the rescues are not going to save. We look for the dogs are without doubt going to be killed if we don't save. Cats we handle locally if somebody needs help with cats. We are 100% volunteer and have no salary employees. Most of us work full-time on top of trying to manage running a rescue. Everyone works for your hard for the dogs that we save. I am proud and confident that all of our dogs have gone into loving homes. People will send pictures and updates. We do this because we care for the pets very much and can stand by and do nothing as they die.

Red Clay Animal Rescue is a small but powerful force in the collective effort to end pet homelessness and suffering in the Savannah area. We are a licensed nonprofit organization. We provide care on a small scale (a few animals at a time) to homeless animals with treatable injuries or illnesses, usually from within the regional shelter system, who would otherwise be euthanized. These pets are fostered until adoption, or placed with other local rescue organizations. An additional priority includes facilitation of shelter-to-shelter transfers (from high kill/poor live release rate facilities with no medical care, to facilities with very high successful adoption rates). These transfers very frequently require that the pets receive some medical intervention (sterilization, infectious disease testing, vaccinations) before transfer. We also use our funds to donate to other rescue groups in dire need, and to shelter/animal control facilities with little or no resources when they need help.

I started rescuing when I heard that adoptable animals where being euthanized. I partner with local kill shelters & only take pets in danger of being euthanized. As I think they need me the most. We are working on expanding to be able to take more pets, & to also partner with kill shelters in other states & transporting them back here to Safe Haven. All pets are health checked, spayed/neutered, UTD on shots, dewormed & trained/socialized.

Adopt An Angel

We are an all volunteer group who's mission is to reduce the numbers of animals euthanized in our area shelters through aggressive adoption and spay/neuter programs. We partner with area shelters, to concentrate on the cats and dogs that have run out of time or have special needs. We move them to a safe haven with private citizens, strive to provide them with any veterinary care they need, and then we find them loving homes. Since 2004, over 11,000 of these previously unwanted animals found their forever homes through our safety net. When one of ours gets adopted, we go and get another.

M & D Rescue Duo will serve as a compassionate advocate for animals and instill in our community that all living beings have a right to be treated with respect. We have observed a need in our community to assist, rescue, foster, provide medical care and love for unwanted, homeless, and neglected animals. Our organization will work to reduce the population of homeless/unwanted animals by sharing with our members, adopters, and the community responsible pet owner skills, proper animal health and safety related information, and quality of life care, that will result in lowering the number of strays in animal shelters and in the community. We will promote, support and provide spay/neuter assistance to prevent unwanted pregnancies, and provide community services which may help keep a companion animal with the family they love.
