Our mission is to rescue medium to large breed dogs and puppies from high kill shelters and unsafe conditions. We give each animal proper vet care, vaccinations, rehabilitation, microchip and basic training to secure their future in a furever home.

Fierce Love Rescue is excited to bring a new twist to animal rescue in northern virginia. Not only do we rescue we educate. FLR is excited to help exotic pets, not just cats and dogs, find their forever homes. We offer training and education on some amazing breeds and species. Our selection of amazing animal ambassadors are available for public education sessions for all ages. FLR is fiercely devoted to adopting and rescuing all species of animals, as well as promoting animal welfare, advocacy, conservation, and education. We rescue all animals with fierce love and dedication.

We are a small rescue that is foster based. We strive to save hounds primarily as well as cats but will take whatever the foster will take.

Woof Meow Rescue is a 501(c)(3) foster-based, volunteer community that strives to better the lives of homeless pets by providing housing, training, medical care, and home settings for minimized stress levels while they are waiting for their forever homes. In the process, we hope to help relieve local shelters that may dealing with over population, long lengths of stay, and medical or behavioral needs beyond their capabilities. ​ Woof Meow Rescue is determined to provide the animals in our care with proper placement and provides post-adoption support for all adopters.

Turtle Creek Veterinary Medical Center is a full service animal hospital that also rescues kittens/cats from our local shelter and adopts them out.

Doggie Bonez, Inc. Rescue has had a successful 2017.  We have found homes for over 150 dogs just this year alone, and over 1000 in total from inception. We rescue dogs from high kill shelters, backyard breeders, abandonment and more.  Our team has grown and we thank all of our volunteers who have made this possible.  Doggie Bonez is a non-profit 501(c)(3), no-kill, volunteer dog rescue organization. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs that are left homeless and abandoned. We rescue dogs from high kill shelters, backyard breeders, hoarding situations, neglect, abandonment and much more. Pit Bull Rescue Oklahoma was founded 19 years ago by Rod Goodhue. Two years ago, he and Beverly Goodhue, who has Wags to Whiskers, Inc. were married and so rescue became a marriage as well. Rescue now includes mix breed dogs, cats, and farm animals. Any species/breed that needs help is welcome.

We are a foster based 501(c)3 animal rescue service. We rescue at risk companion animals from high kill shelters. We also take in strays and owner surrenders. We make sure that all of our animals are fully vetted, including vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchipped before making them available for adoption. We also provide low cost microchipping to the public. We hold adoption events at various locations throughout the year and we educate the public on the importance of vaccinations and spay/neuter through our Facebook page and at our events. Our Koby's Companions program allows a senior citizen or veteran to adopt or long-term foster a senior pet with no adoption fees.

I founded Lancaster Four Dog Rescue due to a plea to save 4 emaciated pit bull puppies. This led to an animal abuse case that is still ongoing. I have always wanted to help animals. When I was growing up I would save neighbor dogs that were left outside with no food or water. I began by fostering for rescues then volunteering. The 4 puppies sparked my desire to start my own rescue.

We are a small, local nonprofit dedicated to saving homeless dogs in our area and from high kill shelters, getting them completely vetted, spay and neutered , socialized, crate trained, and ready to find a forever home.

Stray Haven is located in Aurora Indiana, situated in the tri-state area between Cincinnati Ohio, Indianapolis Indiana and Louisville KY. Our pet rescue has a unique two tier goal that focuses on saving stray animals through adoption, education, exposure and sharing of resources. Our first mission is to rescue and adopt out homeless pets to amazing homes, plain and simple. We have a foster based program that strives to heal the heart, soul and instill confidence in our abandoned babies. In addition to building up the emotional side of our fosters, we take care of their medical needs. Our pets will come with all age appropriate vetting, including spay neuter, microchip, rabies, vaccinations, health tests (heartworm test on dogs and FIV/FELV in cats), and preventative care such as wormer, flea/tick & heartworm (dogs only). Our pets come from our Independent Rescue Partners, which comprise our second mission. The second goal is much more complicated and revolves around supporting the front line troops that have eyes on the ground in rural areas of Kentucky. People imagine and share the pain when they hear of dogs and cats dying in an animal shelter, but what most people don't realize is just how many counties don't have access to an animal facility. While any loss is a sad one, having a shelter that feeds and shelters a pet in it's final days provides a bit of hope compared to the horrific end that can befall so many homeless babies. The pet overpopulation issue is well known and widespread but still there is no end in sight for many counties with minimal income, education and resources. Many counties in our Midwestern and Southern states don't have a county shelter, which means animals get no care or they have holding facilities that contract with other counties to take their homeless pets. The contracted county shelters are almost always overcrowded and taking in the additional animals means additional stresses which lead to frequent euthanasia. Rescues in Kentucky and surrounding states work tirelessly trying to help out the situation but to date it has been a losing battle. For some lucky dogs and cats in those counties with no shelter, they have front line troops, called Independent Rescuers that work tirelessly and on their own dime to shelter them. They start by literally saving the animal, whether hurt on the side of the road, abandoned on mountain tops and coal mines, starving in well meaning residents homes, or forgotten when someone had to relocate, regardless of the situation the Independent Rescuer finds and brings the unwanted pets into their home to provide food and temporary housing. Once the dog is safe from harm they work to facilitate rescue, foster and donations to help with emergency vetting as needed. Despite their best efforts, Independent Rescuers can't always secure rescue for the animals that they have in their care. Rescues try their best but at the end of the day there is only so much foster space available and they can't save them all. This conundrum quickly becomes a financial burden on the front line troops, leaving them to feed and vet those that they were unable to find rescue for. Our mission is to support these rescuers through Education, Exposure and the Sharing of Resources to keep their life saving passion alive! While we can take some of their animals, we will never have enough fosters to take them all, so instead we help to secure homes for as many of their babies as we can through exposure via adoption sites in our more populated location.

You had Me at MEOW, Inc. is a non-profit, no-kill, volunteer cat/kitten rescue serving Brevard county and the surrounding counties. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless cats/kittens that end up in shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia. This includes pet cats surrendered by their owners, and those in danger of abuse or neglect. We speak for those who can't speak to make sure they get a fair shot at life, and the happiness they deserve. We make sure that all of our cats/kittens have been either spayed or neutered before they go to their forever homes. We place cats/kittens in loving, responsible, and committed homes. We require an adoption application, vet and personal references, home visit, and a waiver from renters stating pets are approved. We do not adopt on a first come, first serve basis. We match our cat/kittens with adopters that we feel is the best fit. We want kitty and the new owner to have the loving relationship they both deserve.

Jake's Wish Dog Rescue in San Jose, CA is a non profit (501c3), volunteer-driven organization dedicated to rescuing abandoned dogs who would otherwise be euthanized in shelters due to lack of space. We strive to do this with kindness, by providing a feeling of security through in-home fostering until a match is found that suits both the adopter and dog. We serve our community by providing information and education on responsible dog ownership.

I retired approx 2 years ago from LAPD with 28 years oif service. I fostered for 5 years prior to retirement for another rescue and found it very rewarding to help dogs to have a 2nd chance to live happily ever after. I take the dogs that deserve me to help then have that chance. I deal in quality rather than quantity and invest a lot more time and $$ to take these dogs from abuse and near death to happy healthy family members for another family that will love them until their time comes to go home for good,

Our organization primarily helps owners keep pets in safe and healthy homes. We do this by offering support (i.e. training advice, management), supplies (i.e. food, crates, leashes), and we work closely with animal control on cases where owners truly just need help keeping pets. When re-homing is best, we work with owners to provide re-homing assistance which includes marketing and screening of applicants, as well as post-adoption support for adopters.
