New Leash On Life Rescue has two main purposes. First, to pull dogs from the City of Troy and community dog pounds and help the stray population in Lincoln County, MO. Secondly, community service when funds are available. Helping pet owners to be able to keep their pets instead of surrendering them to a rescue or shelter is dear to our hearts. We would like to break the cycle of the number of pets that are too easily given up on.

We want to help end the needless euthanasia of adoptable dogs from high kill shelters, provide rescue from puppy mill, human inflicted cruelty and inhumane living conditions while providing medical care and spay or neuter before placing the dog in a carefully screened home. Rescue is about doing what is right for the dog.

TAGG is a PACFA licensed volunteer only 501c3 rescue organization that exists to help move dogs from high risk locations such as Texas to fosters and adopters in Colorado.

Our Mission is to rescue abandoned domestic rabbits within our community and find them new homes, support our local shelters in the care of their rabbits, and educate the community on the proper and responsible care of domestic rabbit companions.

Safe Haven 4 Cats SC is a corporate non-profit 501 (c) (3), no kill, all volunteer organization founded to “Help Stop the Endless Cycle” of unwanted cats in Horry County: feral, homeless, abandoned, abused and neglected, through no fault of their own. Adoptable cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, receive veterinary care as needed, and are nurtured until a forever and loving home is found. We advocate and support Trap-Neuter-Release Feed (TNRF) programs and work with local veterinarians to provide low spay/neuter services to those cat owners who are unable to afford medical treatment. Safe Haven 4 Cats SC is dependent entirely on the public’s generosity through donations. Fundraising efforts and events are initiated with the sole purpose of providing a better quality of life for all cats. What We Do:
Volunteers educate the public to encourage the spaying/neutering of cats in order to reduce the senseless number of cats and kittens euthanized daily. We provide a low cost spay/neuter program for anyone needing assistance in getting feral or friendly cats spayed/neutered. Spay/neutering, Rabies vaccination, worming and flea treatment for $45 for male & $55 for females. Testing for FELV/FIV & FVRCP Vaccinations are provided at a low additional cost and is recommended, but not required. It is recommended that Feral cats are ear-tipped for identification purposes and returned to their colony and is included in cost of spay/neuter, there is no additional cost. Cats that are suitable for adoption are tested for feline leukemia (FELV) and feline aids (FIV), wormed, provided flea treatment, spayed/neutered, receive distemper vaccinations, etc., to assure that they are healthy and sociable. If you need help in trapping a feral cat, we can lend you traps and some assistance in trapping. Foster homes are provided for friendly, domesticated cats and kittens until a permanent honey is found. Volunteers trap and transport feral/free roaming cats to one of our low cost spay/neuter clinics where they are sterilized and given their rabies vaccinations. Feral cats are ear-tipped for identification purposes and returned to their colony. Additional medical care is rendered as needed. Feral colonies are monitored daily by volunteers and provided with fresh food and water so that they remain healthy. Feral kittens are fostered and nurtured in a loving home in order to acclimate them for adoption. Cats that are in a dangerous or abused and neglected situation are relocated to a safe environment after receiving preventative veterinary care. Our Goals:
Safe Haven 4 Cats SC is relentless in protecting the feline population in the Horry County area. Dedicated to reducing the number of unwanted cats and kittens through adoptions, we aim to provide a safe and secure sanctuary where homeless and unadoptable cats will be able to live out their remaining years in a safe and sheltered environment. With continued growth in our membership and volunteer network, we are certain that we can make a positive difference in the lives of cats and kittens throughout our area. Best Friends in Atlanta works collaboratively with area shelters, animal welfare organizations and individuals to save the lives of pets in shelters in the region. The Best Friends Pet Adoption Center is a lifesaving hub for animals and a base for local programming and coalition-building to help the metro-Atlanta area in its final push to end the killing of dogs and cats in shelters, while strengthening the movement in the Southeast. KC English Bulldog Rescue is a 501(c)3 organization founded in 2014 that rescues, rehabilitates, and re-homes English Bulldogs who have been surrendered by their owners, are in animal shelters or have otherwise found themselves homeless and in need. Our goal is to find permanent loving homes for these bulldogs as well as educate the public about this wonderful breed. We have volunteers across the Kansas City Metro area who love the Bulldog breed and are dedicated to its continued well-being.

Hunt County Pets Alive original goal was to help the other rescues in the area. That goal is still in the works, as there is strength in unity, but in the past year, HCPA has broadened it's vision and expanded into a full fledge foster based rescue, having up to 100 animals in it's care at any given time.

Union County Humane Society is a foster-based rescue. We take in strays in our county and place them into foster homes. We then vaccinate, deworm, and treat all of our animals for anything they may have. Once the animals are healthy, they are put up for adoption.

We are owned and operated by Nottoway County.  We are striving to find homes for as many of our stray or surrendered animals as possible.

My organization is young, we opened six months ago, but we're already making a difference. We don't intake pets from the public, only transfer pets from other facilities to include our municipal shelter. Our goal is to save twice the lives while also decrease our counties euthanasia rate by helping the shelter with the amount of space and animals they have.

The Rescue Team is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides funds and resources for shelter animals and feral cat communities in Los Angeles. Our primary focus is on animals at risk of being euthanized in city and county shelters, including underage kittens and puppies and animals with health needs. Our immediate goal is to place at-risk animals into foster homes until they are able to be adopted into loving homes. While fostering is an immediate goal, we are also focused on adoptions, partnering with shelters and communities and helping with the feral cat colonies.
