We are a small organization, covering Northern Knox County, Indiana. We are 100% Foster based, 100% Volunteer, and 100% donation dependant. we work to bring in and take care of as many as we can possibly hold, vet, rehabilitate to in turn adopt out to approved homes. Our focus is on the animals needs not the humans.

We are an all volunteer organization that cares for approximately 600 cats every year. We are a non-profit organization with a 501 (c) (3) designation. Save Our Strays became unique in Pinellas County as the only all volunteer organization which, as part of its mission, would accept every stray cat or kitten that needed help IF THERE WAS SPACE IN A FOSTER HOME without prejudice to age, appearance, or health. The cat must reside in Pinellas County. We simply do not have enough foster homes to care for cats from other areas of the state. The only reason an animal within our county would be denied acceptance would be a lack of space. Every animal taken into a Save Our Strays shelter home would be cared for until it was adopted. Euthanasia is not practiced for population control. It is a procedure that is performed ONLY under the advise and supervision of a veterinarian and only if in the best interest of the animal. These animals do not live out their lives in cages. They live in the home of a loving foster parent who cares for that cat for the remainder of its life. Save Our Strays does not accept feral cats into foster homes because we ARE NOT a sanctuary. We do not have the resources, including volunteers and funds, to provide permanent, long term care for feral cats. As soon as there is available space in a shelter home, a cat (non-feral and friendly) is admitted to a foster home. Those seeking our assistance, in most cases, must provide transportation of the cat to the veterinarian for the initial exam or in some cases, directly to the foster home. We do not have volunteers to run pick ups. Prior to adoption the cat is then given a thorough veterinary exam which includes a feline leukemia and FIV test (if old enough), spay/neuter surgery, a distemper vaccine and a rabies vaccine (if old enough). Every cat is also microchipped. All necessary medical treatment, including surgery, is provided. Once the animal is determined to be healthy, it is ready for adoption and posted on Petfinder and taken to one of several PetSmart stores in Pinellas County various Saturdays throughout the year. Cats are not left at stores. Since January 1995, Save Our Strays has medically assisted and adopted out 8500 cats and kittens. This has been possible through the many volunteers who give their time and love to care for these animals and to the generous contributors whose donations go directly to the medical treatment and care of the animals.

To improve and save the lives of animals through advocacy, education and community outreach with a special focus on those facing unique challenges in the current animal sheltering system - orphaned neonates, pregnant and nursing moms and those with special needs. We started this as our Vet worked at AHS. she witnessed many unborn viable babies being euthanized and disposed of. We started the rescue to get these pregnant mama's before got to AHS. Saving little, mini, tiny baby animals (and their mamas!) like it's going out of style.

The Big Cypress German Shepherd Rescue is comprised of a group of passionate individuals dedicated to the rescue of homeless, abandoned, abused, and neglected German Shepherd dogs and puppies. The goal is to rehabilitate the dogs physically, emotionally, and nutritionally and help guide them to becoming loving and loyal family companions.

With Grace is committed to fighting for the tiniest, most vulnerable lives, by providing around the clock care to neonatal kittens, socializing them to be amazing companions, and working diligently to match them with their perfect forever family. We are further dedicated to the care and well being of these homeless cats and to educating the public on the need to spay/neuter pets, responsible pet ownership, and actively encouraging trap-neuter-return (TNR) in our community. We foster cats and kittens until they are ready for their forever family. All cats and kittens leave our care spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and socialized. All adopters must sign contracts stating that the cats and kittens will live an indoor life and they will not be declawed.

We are a non-profit organization that exists to save the lives of at-risk cats and kittens in the Central Florida area. We also have some kitties in the Charlotte, NC are. This is primarily done through fostering those that are sick and/or medically needy until they are healthy and old enough to be placed in a forever home. We believe that saving more lives can be accomplished through educating others on the importance of spaying and neutering as well as through safe and effective trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNvR) practices. We live by the conviction that compassion for animals applies to all species, not just cats.

Care Love Give, Inc., DBA: Wonder Paws Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue that was founded with the purpose of helping families with animals in crisis, and animals in need of rescue. Our vision is to create a community where all animals receive appropriate care, love and the opportunity to find a home. We will provide veterinary care and work against animal cruelty, abuse and neglect. Wonder Paws rescue will provide temporary housing, medical care and rehabilitation for neglected animals in our community, with the ultimate goal of finding them permanent, safe and loving homes. These animals will be taken out of high kill shelters in Broward and Dade County and accepted from people who would like to surrender them to us directly. We will try to educate the community on the importance of spay/neuter and adoption.

While our vision is to rescue every dog, because every dog matters, our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home the dogs in our care by providing safe shelter through loving foster homes, medical care by a superior veterinary staff, and behavioral training with the help of a talented volunteer base. We also strive to educate and emulate the best animal welfare practices, not only in our own local community, but also nationally and worldwide. We believe that wherever there is a need, we should help, so long as we have the ability and resources to do so. That ability depends entirely on the support of our community. Real Dog Rescue is not funded by any governmental agencies. We rely solely on donations from our loyal community of supporters. Our mission to rescue , rehabilitate and re-home dogs in need, depends largely on the active involvement of volunteers willing to add their talents to our team! We are the largest municipality in the country in terms of square footage covered. We specialize in the care and adoption of cats and dogs. Our dog population is predominantly bully breeds. We have many different programs to promote adoptions and to assist the public in responsible pet owner ship, care, and getting involved.

We are further committed to help find suitable forever families for the animals in the various animal control and shelter systems in our area. We are dedicated to educating the public about responsible pet ownership & the importance of spay/neuter. We will encourage our community leaders to prosecute all cases of animal cruelty/neglect, and to enforce all state and local laws related to the proper care of animals. We are a local small, foster based rescue. Our mission is to provide vetting and foster care for at risk dogs and cats. We also plan to offer low cost spay/neuter for those in our community .

Healing Hearts Rescue is a nonprofit Minnesota-based animal rescue. Our mission is to seek out those animals whom humans have failed and heal their hearts by finding them safe and loving homes

Mission to rescue, rehome, and advocating for neonatal kittens and moms through community togetherness

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 No Kill shelter which receives no funding from Mower County, the City of Austin MN (shelter location) or the state. All funding is through adoption fees, donations and fundraisers. All funding goes to care of animals, zero payroll. We work with local law enforcement and the city pound so that no animals are euthanized once their hold time expires and they are unclaimed. Our average population runs about 30 dogs and 130 cats. In addition to rescuing and sheltering animals, we partner with local vet to sponsor periodic reduced cost spay/neuter clinics, and six times per year we host an on site visit of the MNSnap.org mobile surgical vet unit which provides reduced cost spay/neuters. We are small in numbers , but huge in heart and dedication.

We are a municipal sheltering facility in Rome, Georgia. We handle animal sheltering and animal control functions in Floyd County Georgia. We are an open (but managed) intake facility and we do not euthanize animals for space. We only euthanize in the case of an animal being beyond veterinary care. We also network with local rescues to get our animals veterinary care so that they may be adopted after they are healed up from being sick or injured. As a result of this thinking, we maintain a 98% live outcome.

RACS is a small open-intake municipal shelter with big dreams. We passed a No Kill resolution in 2018 and have been steadily working to implement and shape programs that are part of the No Kill Equation in order to save more lives. As of August 2019, RACS has achieved more than a 90% save rate for all of its animals for 6 consecutive months.
