The Orcas Animal Shelter is a user friendly facility welcoming both pets and people. Because we have done such a great job of spaying/neutering on our island plus handling feral cats through TNTR, we can assist mainland partners when they're overflowing.

We are the first facility based rescue in tri cities area, we are pitbull advocate. We specials in the pit bull breed but we rescue any breed that needs our help. We do this because we have a love for animals and cant watch so many be hurt and treated so wrong.

We are a brand new rescue group who was just formed in January 2019. All of our rescue dogs come from rural areas that have been abandoned, surrendered, stray, or otherwise homeless. Most of our dogs currently are rescued in Texas. We are in the process of obtaining our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status and should be receiving our state incorporation paperwork any day now (was submitted 4-5 weeks ago). We are happy to provide any documents needed to prove our nonprofit application status.

" Safe Haven for Animals operates a free roam environment, no-kill shelter located in Scottsdale, Arizona, providing care for approximately 65 cats at any given time, with the population increasing significantly during kitten season. Our primary objective is to place every companion animal in a loving, safe home. The animals received at Safe Haven's shelter which are not adopted will always have food, shelter, veterinary care, love and a safe place to live out their lives. " Safe Haven for Animals was started in late 2004 as a non-profit, no-kill shelter. We’ve taken in sick, elderly, neglected, abused, and abandoned kitties in addition to the lost or those whose lives became collateral damage due to moves, break-ups, new couches, and other human issues. There are no paid staff members with Safe Haven for Animals; the dedicated work is performed solely by volunteers. Funding for our approximately $40,000 annual expenses for rent, utilities, repairs, medical care, food, litter, and other supplies are maintained exclusively by donation of money, time, supplies, independent grants we apply for, garage sale fundraisers (with donated items), and adoption fees ($79-89). The number of animals we can serve is very dependent on our finances. Relief for these expenses come from the very community we serve, and we humbly ask everyone we come in contact with to consider Safe Haven as a cause to get behind. Any monetary assistance we receive goes directly toward our operating expenses and keeping our doors open for as long as we can. Our promise to these living, breathing, miraculous individual souls is for a lifetime.

We are a horse based rescue that also rescues cats and dogs. We rescue from neglect and abuse situations, occasionally owner surrender, kill pen horses that are shipping to Mexico for Slaughter, strY cats and dogs, etc. We rehab the animals based on their specific needs and health situation. We are a non-sheltered animal rescue group. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pets through adoption events & area locations and provide medical care for shelter pets in need. All of our adoptable pets come from Mesa County Animal Services.

We started out wanting to adopt a dog thru another local rescue a few years ago. Our resident dog didn't like the dog we wanted to adopt, so we decided to foster instead. Over the years we worked with that rescue, fostered several dogs, mostly puppies, and developed a profound need to help these dogs in our community.

We are a foster-based cat rescue. We only take cats from local animal impounds which are the most at risk populations. Sara, the president, volunteers at the Bismarck/Mandan animal impound and saw the need for additional rescue services.

I have almost 30 years of gsd rescue experience with my current rescue. I moved to NC from NY and need to start a new rescue that will identify me with the south and not NY. BMSR will be a small group that rescues the gsds that no other rescues want. Many are the ones that are in shelters marked 'rescue only.' I am a trainer and want to make a difference. I love the breed and understand the breed. I love to see these broken, sad and scared dogs turn into wonderful and happy dogs. I love making them healthy and enjoy seeing their confidence grow so they can have a great life. I make them good dogs and I look for homes that will make them great dogs by giving them more love and training. I am EXTREMELY particular about finding the right home for each dog based on their needs. I won't save a lot of dogs but the ones I do will get the best of everything I can provide for them. It's a calling I have had all my life. When I get too old to take the dogs with issues, I want to turn my rescue into a sanctuary for older dogs that need a loving place for their final years. I cannot imagine my life not doing rescue.

The mission of Homeward Bound Schnauzer Rescue, Inc. is to rescue and locate forever, loving homes for miniature schnauzers and schnauzer mix dogs.

We have a simple but important mission: to help all dogs and cats in need. We are committed to providing the utmost care for homeless/abused/neglected dogs and cats, and finding them true forever homes. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit Rescue organization.

The City of St. Charles Animal Control houses stray animals, and owner surrendered animals for adoption to qualified adopters. We also provide a wide variety of other services to residents of our community.

We are a group of volunteers that are dedicated to saving the lives of German Shepherds and German Shepherd mixes. We all work in a variety of disciplines to include medical, financial, animal welfare and corporate. What bonds us is our love for all dogs, specifically German Shepherds. We've all volunteered for other 501c nonprofit rescues and feel the dogs are best served by all of us working together. We all strongly feel that there are too many unwanted, abused and neglected animals that we want to work together, with shelters and the community, to help reduce the epidemic through saving the dogs and educating the public.

We take in helpless and homeless animals, get them neutered and physically/mentally healthy, and place them in approved, appropriate homes. We can also help with food and vetting to keep an animal with its owner, and we work with local animal control to get at-risk animals to safety.

The Maclean Cameron Animal Adoption Center is located at 900 25th Avenue NE in Great Falls, MT. The 13,600 square foot facility, provides temporary shelter to cats and dogs in a safe, pleasant and humane environment. Training and education areas provide space for humane education (including kids camps) and training courses. Long Beach Little Paws Project is a collaboration between The Little Lion Foundation, Catpaws and Long Beach Animal Care Services with the goal of making Long Beach no kill in 2019 by saving the underage kittens that are regularly killed for lack of resources.
